I am sure many of you have read the article "Questions & Answers: Pending Employment-Based Form I-485 Inventory" on the USCIS site.
In this article, it gives an example of how to use the pending Form I-485 inventory charts. Personally, I think this is a very misleading example. It refers China EB3 to "Pending Employment-Based Form I-485 Report". This Chart includes all EB3 of the world (including India, Mexco, and China). In reality, this chart is not used by anybody. Because ROW will use the chart "I-485 Employment Based Inventory for Individuals Born in All Other Countries Except China, India, Mexico or Philippines", and the 4 countries (China, India, Mexico and Philippines) will use their indvidual country's Chart.
There is only one situation that China EB3 will not use its own country's chart, i.e., when China EB3 has caught up with the ROW. In that case China EB3 will use the chart "I-485 Employment Based Inventory for Individuals Born in All Other Countries Except China, India, Mexico or Philippines".
So far China EB3 is still behind the ROW. However, based on this published statistics report, China EB3 should be at least as fast as the ROW.
