Hi,
I received the I-485 approval notice on Oct. 13, 2009 and it says
"The above application has been approved. Prior to receiving your permanent resident card you be required to report for biometrics processing (photo/fingerprint/signature). Please do not take any action at this time. If you are required to report for this processing, you will receive another notice advising you of the date, time and location to appear."
I assume someone may have received similar notice before. If so, could you please share your information on following questions:
1) what will happen afterwords? Somebody says that a code 2 biometrics appointment will be sent to me. If so, when can expect it to come? By the way,
I had the code 3 biometrics taken on Jul. 6, 2009.
2) How long should I expect the green card after the additional biometrics?
