I was a graduate student in clinical medical school in xx medical univeristy(china). I got my doctoral degree (medicine of doctoral). in clinical medical school there are two types of degree, one is clinical medicine of doctoral, one
is medicine doctoral degree. In fact, medical of doctoral focus on research, so I think I should be Ph.D.
Now I am applying green card, when I give my lawyer my degree translation, my lawyer said medicine of dictoral should be M.D not Ph.D. I told him the difference of these, he asked me to write a statement to explain why my medicine of doctoral degree is Ph.D and not M.D
Could you tell me this statement will make tings complicated or not? what should I do?
I just don't want someone to say you are Ph.D why you say you are M.D.
