I'm in US. My dad has visited me over 10 times for the past 5 years. He always get his visa renewed from CITIC bank with no problem, ever. This year, he bought a house in LA with no loan. However when he applies for another B1/B2 again early October, the embassy staff contacted him and asked for more supplyment documents, like past 10 years travel histroy-detailed. He submitted the required information next day. So far it has been almost 3 weeks. I'm wondering how much longer we have to wait. I really need him to be here before xmas to help me move.
Is that possible?
BTW, I just became US citizen last year. will this be an issue? or the house?
