I have deposited 6 genes in GenBank, I was also the one who named this gene cluster. I found that, some other researchers also used the term I named when they deposited their gene sequences (from sequencing and annotation) in the database. How can I use this in my application? Can I claim it as citation or impact in the scientifc contribution? I really appreciate your helps. BTW, I am fed up with my attorney.
