I got the RFE notice asking for the evidence which establishes that you continue to be engaged in the occupation that is the basis of your national interest waiver.
My current employer is in the different area from my NIW application. But I have still been active in my NIW research area in the past years: 1) as a non-paid consultant for my previous employer for the on-going research; 2) keep reviewing the papers in the NIW area; 3) as 2nd author for a few papers. Are these enough as evidence to get approval? Is that helpful if I ask my previous employer to provide the letter claiming me as a consultant (no payroll, though)? What other evidences I need to provide to make my case stronger?
