I am applying for H1B at a University. I have a question about "period of H1B employment". Labor Condition Applicatoin's used to file for a three-year period, but right now just file for the actual appointment ends. My boss might file less than 3 years for me. I am told that H1B can usually be extended once, is it true? How long can H1B extend? Thanks!
