I'm one of those 7/2007 filers. I was laid off in Jan 2010. Currently I'm in the middle of my part time MBA program. And I'm thinking of finding an internship in the summer (mid of June to mid of September) and maybe graduate next June. I wonder if the gap between my 2 full time jobs can be longer than 6 months. Basically, my questions are:
1. Can finding an internship be an option for me in this situation? Thinking about now I'm trying to look for an internship and if it happens, the internship will last till September and then I need several months to find another full time job, which means my 2 full time jobs could be 1 year apart. Will the long gap hurt my case eventually if audited?
2. Can I go back to Asian to do the intern and come back with my AP? The question is still basically the 6 months limits. Since I will be coming back but without a full time job, will that be a problem that the Custom won't allow me to get in?
