I just got married with my hunsand who is an american citizen. I'm currently a F-1 student, and will graduate in the coming December. My problem is whether I should apply for OPT or apply for conditional greed card in my situation? My husand just quit his job in order to move to my place, since we've been separated by so long a distance, and we spent so much money on phone calls and flight tickets. He only has two years' tax record, but I have a full assistantship, so we can still make our ends meet. Do we have some problem with Affidavit of Support? If we have a lawyer, does it help a lot? What is the cost? I have no idea about all these questions, so I'm sincerely asking for help from those who has experience with this and hope I can get some answer from you.
