I posted it a few days ago. After reading Abigail's reply I checked US embassy website and think my nephew probably should go for an interview. My question is he is only a 10-yo boy, can he go by himself? Or can either of his parents go with him (although none is applying for a visa themselves).

For the interview, should I copy my parents' visa&passport pages? Thanks a lot.....

My parents got visiting visa earlier and plan to come to the U.S. for the summer. I have a 10-yo nephew. I wish he can come to spend the summer. I am asking for advice how I shall proceed.

1. Does my nephew have to be interviewed?
2. If he has to be interviewed, are his parents allowed to escort him? His parents have no intention of applying visas for themselves at all.
3. If interview, usually what documents shall we provide?
4. If no interview, what documents shall we provide?

My nephew has never been to the US but has been to some other asian countries for sightseeing. He speaks a little English...

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge and experience.
