I need your help on filling out I-9 form. I have sent in I-140 and I-485 (EB3)at July 2007. I got my I-140 approved at FEB2009 and my I-485 is pending. I have got EAD which is good from OCT/2008-OCT2010.
Now I am switching job and the employer is asking me to fill out I-9. The question I have is this item:
I should put a "X" in front of: An alien authorized to work (Alien # or Admissing #):
What is the Alien # or Admissing #?
Until (expiration date, if applicable-month/day/year)
What is this Until date? The end date of my EAD? However my EAD expires at OCT/2010. I am in the process to renew my EAD which will carry me over from OCT/2010 to OCT/2012. Again, how do I fill out the info?
