Total EB green cards in a year: 140000
Assume that there will be 20000 more EB applications filed that will be current this year (more EB1 + other country EB2/3). I think this is a very conservative guess.......that leaves 120000 visa numbers for pending EB2/3 inventory...
28.5% of 140000 is 40000 (# of applications in each EB 1/2/3 category)
lets say 30-35K from EB1 spill over to EB2
therefore total EB2 approvals should be in 70-75K range...almost enough to clear the pending inventory....
Of course I am assuming that USCIS approve all 140000 cases every year and also that spill overs from EB1 go entirely to EB2 first.
Any comments??
