my father is now in the U.S. visiting us on B2(one year multi entry valid thru March 2011). He came in the U.S. on 05/01/2010, his I-94 is valid thru 10/30/2010. If he goes back to China in Septemper for a short stay and comes back to U.S. on 10/06 (please note that this is earlier than his previous I-94 expiration date 10/30), in this case will his new I-94 be subject to his previous I-94 expiration date 10/30? Or the new I-94 is not relevant to the previous I-94? How long will his new I-94 be?
A simple question I guess, but I just don't get it. Teacher 863211 and pjiang, or others who know the answer, please help me out!
