Andrew L. Fair, a partner in the law firm of Gleit & Fair inManhattan, has practiced immigration law for over 25 years. He concentrates his practice on labor-related immigrant and non-immigrant cases. Mr. Fair has had a great deal of success with applications for Extraordinary Ability visas, Outstanding Professor and Researcher visas, and National Interest Waivers, as well as with conventional labor certification based applications. Many successful immigrants in the academic and artistic
communities are among Mr. Fair's many satisfied clients.
Mr. Fair was born in 1952 in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. Mr. Fair received a Bachelor of Arts in Oriental Studies (Chinese) with honors (Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974.he also attended Johns Hopkins University from 1970 to 1972. Mr. Fair received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1978, and ! has practiced immigration law, exclusively, since 1978. Mr. Fair is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish.He has traveled to Taiwan, China, Israel, and France, among other countries. Mr. Fair is admitted to the Bar in New York and Pennsylvania,
and to the Federal District Court, in Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Mr. Fair and Mr. Gleit have been partners since 1983.
