收到 EB1A-RFE，其中一项要求提供evidence of my original scientific contributions of major significance in my field (biomedical research)。不知如何response.I've already provide indenpendent letters. But the IO said it cannot be count. What I should do to response. Thanks a lot.

Regarding the fifth criterion (evidence of your original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or business-related contributions of major significance in the field), you have specifically identified original contributions which you have made. However, the fifth criterion requires evidence that at least one of your contributions has already proven to be of MAJOR significance in your field. Projections of what your findings may lead to are not sufficient. Your affiants have written highly of your work, but in an unpublished decision the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) wrote that “even when written by independent experts, letters solicited by an alien in support of an immigrant petition carry less weight than preexisting, independent evidence of major contributions that one would expect of an alien who has achieved sustained national or international acclaim.” Please sub-mit such independent evidence which establishes that a contribution for which you were primarily responsible has already proven to be of major significance.
