今年六月二十一日，开始在一家HR公司作contractor, 他们找到一个律师行开始办H1B transfer.说只要移民局收到申请，就可以合法开始工作。也说一到两个星期手续就可以办完。上班三个月之后，律师说现在只排到六月二日。 还说如果移民局deny this transfer，the status during that period becomes invalid.

其实六月十一日，移民局已经收到我的I485申请（这个是跟我太太的绿卡）我在八月二十一日收到EAD。律师说没用，H1B transfer has to be approved to cover the period from 6/21 to 8/21 and it will influence the I485 application too if denied.

现在的contractor company want to convert me to FTE. 这简直是火烧眉毛！
