I am a Chinese citizen but with work visa of Japan. I held F1 ESL visa to the US for the year of 2010. I will go back to Japan at the end of Dec.
I have several questions about ESL F1 visa.
1. May I apply for the 2nd year F1 visa for ESL if school says yes to my I-20?
2. Due to some urgent issues of the job in JP, I have to stay in JP for 6 months (to June 2011), is that possible I can use the discontinued I-20 to enter US or I have to reapply the school again?
3. If I have to reapply F1 visa from JP, will it be easy to be rejected because of the 6 months discontinue?
4. Can I use the F1 visa (I will reapply the F1 visa in Jan. 2011 and hope I can get it) to get into US after or before the semester starts (lets say in June 2011)?
