Pijiang,xiaobaitu,8老师, my problem is that I have brought my child out with me 5 years ago. He is in high school now. If we return, my hu*****and (in China) and I are concerned about his future.
So, I persevered and persevered. I applied for jobs. Got 15 telephone interviews and about 7 onsite / skype interviews. None of them gave me offers. Some just pulled you in to tell you and they were interviewing candidates, but were looking for top-notch. My professors also told me the same thing—our field is only hiring the top-notch.
Right now, I am considering if I can try to get certified in math teaching and get a job offer. However, I am not sure if hiring institution can apply for H1B visa with certification in math teaching. My terminal degree is PhD in educational research.
Would be very grateful if any of you tell me if my plan (in previous paragraph) will work out for H1B.
