我给父母办的绿卡刚刚收到了，前后用了3个多月。我也写写我的体会。
我们的情况很简单，就是子女是公民了，然后给用B-2签证入美的父母申请绿卡。基本情况就如以前别人写的。我家的材料也简单，唯一不同的就是妈妈曾改过名字，提供了一份公证。然后我自己不工作，所以经济担保让老公写了864A.
递出申请近3个月，去移民局面试。面试的问题也简单，就是问了问父母的父母名字是什么。然后就是问一堆国家安全问题，就是重复485上面的。可惜，当我做翻译的时候，有的我也听不懂，就有点混个大概就给翻译过去了，然后爸妈就统统说“no"。唯一的问题就是当问我父母是否在国内参加过任何协会，党派，俱乐部等（485上的问题），我爸居然说参加过九三学社，要知道填485的时候我可是写的全无。面试官好像写了两笔，不过应该没问题。------体会，最好面试前把485填的内容跟父母仔细过一遍，否则容易搞错。
面试后，要求补充我的G325A，还有就是让我父母补打一针DTaP。
关于体检，我没给父母在国内办体检证明，所以都是在这里办的。我们这儿也没老中的便宜大夫，就找了中东人。体检是$135/人，然后说由于我父母已经过70了），所有疫苗都不用打了。但是还是给打了流感疫苗$20/人。------后来，面试后要求补打DTaP，又花了$50/人。虽然大夫后来辩解说，体检指南上是说老人建议打但没有必须。但因为没胆量跟移民局叫板，就又打了一针。-------所以，真实情况是，65岁以上老人是可以在疫苗上省不少钱的，因为大多数不需要了。
递上补充材料后3天，网上的status就变为批准了。为了感谢大家，我也列一下我们的申请材料吧。
