I am a F-1 student in US. I am considering immigrating to Canada. There are a couple of questions I want to ask.

1. My no-criminal certificate was done a couple of month before I came to US. Some discussions here said that the certificate should cover the last day of your stay in China. Do I still need to get a new one? What is the procedure? My Hukou is in Rencaijiaoliuzhongxin.

2. Can I notarize my transcripts, degree and diploma in my current US school? They provide this service. As I read on the official site, we need to get the original university-sealed envelopes for the transcripts. The lawyer I talked to told me it is not necessary as long as I got those notarized. I do not want him to mislead me now and waste my time later on.

3. How long does it usually take to get all the things done? I mean from the submission of the material to the final notice of landing.
