我的一位美国朋友, 快和一个中国女孩结婚了. 女孩曾经在美国工作, 但现在人在中国.  这位美国朋友有以下几个问题, 望请指点!

Should they do the K1 and marry in the US? Or do the K3 and marry in China? Should he hires an attorney for this process? Or should she come back uner her work visa, then they marry in the US? He hates to get stuck with a couple of year process.
