My company A is acuquired by another company B . Now my company is a B's company but still keep the tax ID till the end of this year. My lawyer suggested to start my I-140 SII after my company A's federal tax id changes ( next January). My questions are following:
1) Can I ask the lawyer to start I-140 SII process early or before the end of this year ?
2) If my PD dates is current next month, I wonder if I can use my old I-140 and A company's documents to submit my I-485 or I need to wait next year after my I-140 SII is approved.
