I was in F2 status before changing into F1, as my hu*****and was studying in USA. My F1 status was approved on January 19th, 2010. Since the spring semester of community College has started before that, I was not allowed to register for the 2010 spring semester.Right after the approval of my F1 status, I found myself pregnant. As I lost a lot of weight during my pregnancy, my midwife suggested me to take more rest. So I applied for the medical leave in April 2010 with a letter from my midwife. The international student office of community College accepted the letter and approved my medical leave. I was told that I don't need to go to school until 2011 spring semester since my expected due date was October 15th, 2010. During October 2010, Quincy College sent me a letter informing me that I was out of status, but I didn't receive because I just moved at that time. I was not able to update my address to school because my delivery was right after my moving. I really regretted that I didn't update my address in time. Otherwise I could have contacted school at the earliest opportunity. My daughter was born on Oct. 23rd,which was already in the middle of the 2010 fall semester. Also, my midwife asked me to have six weeks to recover without any work or school. Therefore, I didn't contact the school until December. At the end of December 2010, I went to the College to register for the 2011 spring semester. Then the International Student Officer (ISO) told me that I was out of my F1 status. I was shocked because my medical leave was approved. My designated ISO checked my case, and it turned out that my record was not updated in the SEVIS system for the reduced courseload for the fall semester 2010 due to administrator error.  I discussed with her right away to resolve my situation. She requested USCIS helpdesk to re-activate my F1 status. But it didn't get approved because USCIS don't consider pregnancy and delivery as a good reason for medical leave. I really didn't know that rule because my school had approved my medical leave. Otherwise, I would have registered for classes despite of my poor health condition during my pregnancy. Then, my ISO suggested me to apply for the F1 reinstatement. In the beginning of March 2011, I submitted the reinstatement application to USCIS. Since then I have been waiting for the result untill the Sep 12th 2011 when the UICIS wrote to me to request more evidences.I have sent USCIS a statement letter and letters of my midwives together with some medical records.

Right now I don't know which is a better way for me to choose: go back china to get a new F2 visa now since my hu*****and is still a student or stay here to wait for the result? I am worried about it because I have been out of status for more than one year.

不知道我说清楚了没?

如果我回国重签F2成功后,来了还能再转F1吗,会不会因为我这次的记录而拒绝我再转F1

感谢来自你们的任何建议!!!
