The I-485 AOS application was submitted to USCIS via Dalla lockbox. The USPS delivery confirmation showed that the package was delivered on 11-18-11. There is no receipt notice yet from USCIS after almost 3 weeks. Is this normal? How do I inquire the status of my application from USCIS? The checks for application fee are not cashed yet. My current visa status will be expired on 12-17-11. I am really concerned if USCIS lost my application and I will be not notified. Do I have to file another application with USCIS before I am out of status (12-17-11)?
