I am renewing my greencard and got letter from CIS that I would need to
provide clearance letter from each local law enforcement offices for past 10
years since the finger print is not readable.
Since I have lived in different cities and counties (some are not in the
city limits) in the past 10 years but only in Washington state, my question is that if I need to go to
each police departments and sheriff offices (as some does not in the city
limit) for each letter or one clearance letter from WA state patrol should
be good? My current place police department told me to go to the state patrol to avoid multiple clearance letters. Does anyone has any experience? thanks in advance!
