I am h1b holder for two years since Oct. 2011 (the first three). I lost my job on Nov. 1, last pay check received is Nov 1, and got another one on Nov. 15th, which is seperation one time payment.
I submitted I-485 and EAD and AP has not arrived yet. (I am dependant of my hu*****and green card application).
I got an offer this week. I will ask the company to do h1b transfer for me.
I am afraid that if the h1b transfer need to travel abroad to obtain a new I-94 card.
If that is the case, what should I do?
After I receive my AP, can I go to canada (I am canadian) and come back to reinstate my h1b?
I understand that I can not leave US before I receive my AP.
please help!
