I am an American citizen now and try to apply green cards for my parents who are currently in China. After read the related web sites, I summarized and listed the steps and required documents/fees as below. Hope this can help anyone who is preparing parents’ immigration. I also wish other friends to add the items I missed.

Step 1:
A For your mother:
(1) I-130 [you fill it, $315]
(2) Your birth certificate (showing your name and your mother’s name)

(3) Copy of your US passport or copy of your Certificate of Naturalization
B For your father:
(4) I-130 [you fill it, $315]
(5) Your birth certificate (showing your name and your father’s name)

(6) Copy of your US passport or copy of your Certificate of Naturalization
(7) Your parents’ civil Marriage Certificate

You need apply separately for your mother and father!

Step 2:
A For your mother:
(1) I-485 [$315 + $70 fingerprint fee (14~75 years old)]

(4) I-693 [medical exam form]

B For your father:
