My immigration category is F2A. The PD is Nov 9, 2015. According to VB of May 2017, the final action date is July 15, 2015. The filing date is April 8, 2016. So I filed my I485 last month, and today I got the rejection letter, saying I have to use final action date for I485 filing. Is this correct? I have a classmate who is also F2A with PD Oct 26, 2015. She filed 485 2 months ago and she got the I485 receipt. Can you tell me why? Many thanks, teacher 8.
