I am 14, a freshman at a public high school. I have very good grades and I am involved in extracurricular programs. I stay in U.S. on my parents' J-1 visa. However, they may have to leave by the end of 2005. I really want to go to colleges here. Someone suggested me to switch to a private school because then the school can apply F visa for me. Does anyone have this kind of information or experiences? Any legal method is fine as long as I can stay here for my college years.
