Help to immigration to CA kirn2003-11-07 22:30:00

I want to apply for PR in Canada but I don't want toapply this for my wife.Actually she will help me to get 4~5 points for the assessment 'caus eshe is a Ph D candidate now.If I don't apply for PR for her can I still have these points added?
