Seems to me so many guys here have filed 485 or even got approved.

Why could not anyone be willing to give a reply ?

I-140 approved (Sponsored by a university, Tenure track position). Now filing I-485.

One supporting document my lawyer's list asked for is, "if applicable", Form I-120 and a letter from the University confirming maintaining status if any applicant was ever in F-1 visa.

I entered USA as F-1. My current status is H-1B. Does this apply to my case ? By the way what is Form I-120 ? I only had I-20 as F-1. Do I need to ask my former university to write such a letter ? Anyone in similar situation has some exprience ?

Thanks in advance.
