I filed N400 for citizenship last year. We filed divorce recently. I called INS and asked if I will get approved for the citizenship since the divorce application is pending too.
I was told I need to notice INS we have filed divorce . My questions are:
1 Do I have to let them know we have filed divorce?
2. Will INS know we have filed the divorce if I do not tell them? Divorce may take one year to be finalized.
