university post-doc changed school last year. H-1B transfer petition filed Sept. 2004, get approved in Jan. 2005. However my new H-1B was set to be effective on Jan. 2005, instead of the date of Sept. 2004 we have requested. Am I considered out of status between Sept. 2004 and Jan. 2005? Any advice, comments? Thanks a lot.
