Regarding tax form: J1 to H1 Xuefei2005-02-08 19:21:29

I was J-1 before August 2004 and H-1 after then, how should I fill in the Federal and State tax forms? Since both Federal and State taxes are waived as J-1 holder (the first 7 months of year 2004).
