My I140s (EB1a & NIW) and I485 were concurrently filed with NSC last year. Recently I moved in a new state which belongs to the service area of CSC. As we all know, NSC is very tough and its I140 processing is much slower than CSC’s. Also my current position/status is more advantageous than what I held when I was filing my I140/I485 petitions with NSC. So I’d like to file a new I140-EB1a with CSC.

Below are my questions regarding this issue:

1. May I legally file the new I140-EB1a with CSC while keeping my original cases with NSC?
2. Do I need to withdraw my original I140-EB1a from NSC (but keep I140-NIW and I485 there) before filing the new I140-EB1a with CSC?
3. In case withdrawing my original I140-EB1a from NSC is needed, how long may this action take?
4. Is possible to link the new I140-EB1a to the existing I485 filed with NSC?
