My I485 was filed in April 2004 in CSC and still pending ( EB2, concurrent filing), so I asked my lawyer to perform an inquiry, 3 weeks later I got the inquiry results: your I485 case is undergoing addtional security check, please allow 180 days to send another inquiry. ( faint!!! ), has anyone had the same experience recently, or I am just unlucky? I heard from my lawyer that recently many chinese are experiencing the same security checks though. It might be due to a recent "all chinese are spies" article from stupid "business week".
