Dear all,

I am in F-1 status, do not have a valid F-1 visa stamp. My wife and I want to go to Canada to landing, and she also want to apply for an F-2 visa so that she can back to China and come back again. I will not apply for it.

My concerns:

1) What are the chances for her to get the visa at the US Consulate in Toronto? Cosidering the situation that I do not F-1 visa (stamp)???

2) If my wife fails to obtain the F-2 visa in Canada, does that make me (the F-1) unable to return to the US due to my wife's failure to obtain the F-2 visa?....even though I did not apply for the visa?

3) Our I-20s (me and wife) was issued through the SEVIS on Jan. 2003, I don't rember pay the SEVIS fee. Do we need pay the SEVIS fee if we come back from Canada?

Please help !!!

Thank you very much.
