EB3 relief is included in the final bill
Great news for nurses. Time to celebrate!
The bill includes much of the Real ID Act of 2005, which was included in the
House-passed version of the bill. The provisions on asylum, the border
infrastructure, and driver’s licenses are included; the alien bond and surety
provision was not included. The conference bill also includes the Mikulski
amendment regarding caps on temporary seasonal workers (H-2B). Additionally,
the Hutchison amendment recapturing unused EB3 visas and the Frist amendment
regarding Australian visas were included.
