Hello, guys
I came to USA with H1b visa. When my H1b was expiring, I changed to F1 in USA. I got the approval, but I didn't apply for F1 visa yet. The school I'm studying at is a normal one.
My Canada immigration got approved, I'm going to have a temporary landing and then come back to states. Here is my question:
May I come back within 30 days with my F1 I94 which was included in F1 approval letter?
I understand that one can use the I94 to come back to states, even though the visa related to this I94 got expired. Then how about my case?

The following is my timeline of Canada immigration:
May 12, 2004: sent application
June 18, 2004: 1st letter
Jan 19, 2005: 2nd letter, interview waived, ask for FBI letter and Medical exam
Jan 25, 2005: medical exam done
Feb 24, 2005: sent out FBI letter
April 12, 2005:3rd letter
April 15, 2005: sent out passport
May 10, 2005: got passport
The whole procession took almost exact one year. I applied for myself.
