我是B1来美的,后来转成F1,后来是H1B,后来没了工作,没能及时找到工作,就...
现在是黑了一年多了,听说和公民结婚可以拿绿卡,可我仔细看了看485,发现一些问题.
在485第一页的介绍上关于什么人没有资格用这个表的说明中明确提到:
"You are not eligible for adjustment of status if any one of the followling apply to you"
其中第四条说" Your authorized stay expired before you filed this application"
我想我就是这种情况吧.
可问题是后面有说了一种情况,我想也是我的情况"You failed to maintain your nonimmigrant status, through no fault of your own or for technical reasons; unless you are applying because you are: --An immediate relative of US citizen(parent, spouse, ...)
以上的两种轻快似乎有些冲突,因为前面提到说我只要符合任何一种情况就会失去资格,但后一种情况又给我一线希望,因为我是An immediate relative of US citizen.
请问大家,这一点怎么解释呢?
