Dear friends:
I met a urgent problem in I-94. I entered US in this June with H1 visa. The I-797 is valid till 2006, but the inspector only gave me 2 months stay in America and told to make extension when I passed the custom. I filed I-539 and try to make an extention for I-94. However, after 4 months, the INS denied my application. The reason may be that my case does not fit extension with I-539 and they don't tell me how to deal with. Now the date on I-94 has expiered 4 months. Have I lost my status? I am really worried beacause I don't know how to do next.
I am greatly appreciated if anyone could give me any suggestions.
