I will file immigration application based on marriage soon. I wonder if anyonw who filed same application after April 1, 2005 would like to share their experience on the processing speed . Since April 1st, 2005, I-485 (family-based adjustments only), I-765 and I-131 will mail to Chicago lockbox directly.I have not seen anyone posted message here to discuss whether it is faster or slower compared to their local direct office. What is the typical waiting time for you to get the receipt? I know it is kind of dummy to ask this since it started changing on April 1, 2005 (only two months). But I am hoping for the miracle :) I will post my experience later once I submit my forms.
