Currently I am in TD status (TN's dependent). I wonder if there could be any possibility to get my SSN. Shown on the instructions to SSN application, some kinda official letter stating the purpose of SSN has to be shown along with my SSN application. However, I really have no idea what kinda official document I could get in order to fulfil this requirement. I am currently unemployed, I dont attend a school though I am planning to, and I dont have my own business. It seems hard for me to show any kinda official document for this time being.
So please, tell me your experience. Any input is greatly appreciated.
