got FP appointment in july ipod022005-06-17 16:07:38

it's end of july, it's more than a month away :(

My questions:

- does notice of FP mean the name check at FBI is done, or name check comes after they receive the FP?

- after the FP, how long does it take for me to get my gc?

- I asked the INS lady, she said I can call at 8am to get an ealier appointment, has anybody done that before?

- I heard I can just pop in, is that possible in N Dallas FP center? Do they take your FP earlier than your scheduled date?
