有国际学生，朋友的孩子，在我们本州上学。 刚过学习Learning permit 的年龄 （16岁），想让我作为legal guardian，在他申请learning permit & provisional driver license 的表格上签字，否则他没法学车。
我打电话问了申请驾照的部门，the parents ( name on birth certificates) or legal guardian ( parents authorized through court ), who have local state driver license, have to sigpapern the application together with the minors applicants who apply for state learning permit before age 18.
我的问题：
（1）如果我同意做他的legal guardian， 中国法院的公正文件，是不是就足够了？ 还是必须家长来美国法院做授权公正文件？
（2） 如果我做他的legal guardian， 能否在法院授权公正文件上， 注明我不负担任何经济责任？
（3）如果如（2），孩子车出了大事故，我是不是还有承担责任，或者说被诉讼？ 我已经问明白，车的title and insurance could be only the kid's name. 不需要出现我的名字。
