point that any enemy shall not have any intention to challenge your authority. Only at that point, you may be safe. Unfortunately, few people really in the past understood this basics, leading to that there has been no place for you to stand in this planet.
That is why most of the people in China have missed Chairman Mao ZeDong who led people in China to stand up in 1949, to confront the most powerful UN armies in the 1950s Korea War, to defeat the intruders from the southwestern border, to destroy enemies in the 1974 South China Sea battle, and to fight back with the former Soviet Union Red Army at the Northeastern border. Under the Mao regime, China has built up a complete modern intrusty system that is able to produce any items used for human life, and has built up a solid defense system including ballistic missiles that can deliver nuke warheads cross the oceans, and has built up a relatively fair social security system. These have greatly improved the well-beings of people in China.
This greatest China Stateman passed away in 1976. A new opening up regime led by Deng XiaoPing and his successors have focused on economic development even since, but unfortunately have given up a solid attention to the defense system. Consequently, China is still relatively weak. Nobody can predict what would happen to China today if she did not have the two-bombs and satelites inherited from the Mao age. God bless China, and bless people in China! He has brought the China President Xi JinPing to China at such a critical time in 2012. President Xi, some called him the second Mao ZeDong, has quickly pickek up the problems that have blocked rising of China, and quickly removed those barriers to lead people in China toward a right direction.
1. Anti-corruption in all levels of government, resulting in a clean, effective and professional country machine;
2. Focus on people's well-beings, enhancing the social security system;
3. Pay more attention to economic quality rather than more quantity, reconciliation of the frigil environment and ecosystm that has been damaged because of over development for decades;
4. Complete and update the hygien systems nation wide, greatly imporving people's living enviroment (e.g., washing room revolution);
5. Investment more on education system, expanding 12 years education for all children till age of 18;
6. More investment on science and technology development, focusing on innovation in all fields related to advancing human civilization;
7. Adjusting balance of economic development, expanding benefits to less developped regions (e.g., northwest, southwest);
8. Quickly completing the foundamental infrastructures of the country, including high-speed rail tracks, express ways and high-standard roads linking each corner of the nation;
9. Modernize cities facilities, improving functions of giant, large, middle, and small cities country wise.
10. More importly, start reforming the military system to build up a stronger nation defense system.
Just name a few.
Hopefully, people in China shall have a better and happy life in the beautiful and civilized country in next few decades and beyond.
Despite all above, there are upcoming challenges facing President Xi JinPing and his team. Currently, a big problem is the trade war with the USA. Again, this problem has been much easied since his meeting with US President Donald J. Trump at the G20 meeting last month held in Argentina. Fortunately, President Xi and President Trump have developped a very close personal friendship. They often chat via telephone. This would definitely be helpful in solving any big issues facing these two great nations. No doubt that a full collaboration between the USA and China would benefit each other and extensively to the world.
People in China and USA would never forget that their countries worked together in the Word War II to defeat the Japanese imperial armies and in the Cold War to defeat the former Soviet Union. There is no reason to doubt that China and USA would not work together now and in the future to deal with problems facing the human beings in this planet.
