乌克兰总统泽连斯基周三表示，面对俄罗斯入侵威胁，乌克兰"无所畏惧"，将“自卫反击”对抗俄罗斯。
泽连斯基周三前往乌克兰东部小镇马里乌波尔，他表示：“我们不惧怕任何威胁，也不畏惧任何人，我们要奋起保卫家园。”
泽连斯基此前签署法令，将周三定为"全国团结日"，大批乌克兰国民上街展示国旗并高唱国歌，显示全国团结一致，应对俄罗斯威胁。首都基辅，民众携手拉起一面长200米的国旗在奥林匹克国家体育场上展开。在乌克兰其他城市都有民众在街上挥舞国旗。
泽连斯基身着军装视察靠近亲俄分离势力地区的小镇，他表示乌克兰“拥有精良的武装力量”，他说，“我们之所以强大，是因为我们团结在一起，我们是乌克兰人。”
泽连斯基周三上午还参加了在西部罗夫讷附近举行的军事演习，演习期间，首次使用了西方国家运送的反坦克武器。
