i was writing the following post when this song punched into my head with a sharp cry. Like it or not, skip it or not, all on your own willingness~~~
You peope say me crazy, but i SEE things out the corner of my eye~~ :)))
"I just finished the last part of “on the road’ with a drum pounding heart. I’m high!!! And here, u people are talking about sweet sweet thing called love again, about man on the road leaving woman behind with mournful moist eye. People, listen to me for once, it’s NOT at all this book up to, NO, NO, NO!
Through the book, I saw two big words: SAD & DIG. Yasss! It’s about digging the innocent and miserable souls packed on the road, with sad and sorrowful eyes. It’s about experiencing and feeling, the tremendous void of world! Except Jack and his dear crazy friend, Dean Moriarty, who else in this world could SEE things passing by with such tremendous excitement and amazement, and with such concentrate focus on infinite details which are normally in other people’s ignorance?
It’s not about searching, but embracing, taking things in, as Dean rubbing his belly and groaning. It’s about wailing humanity stretching under the dark sky. It’s about us, yes, you and me, cuddling in a pitiful tiny corner of world, breathing and pawing the uncertainty with the gleaming eye!
And being on the road is not man’s privilege. Jack is not talking about man in specific! Anyone who is with the great compassion and frantic desire to dig out what every possible human being is doing with his bashful soul is already on the road! Like at this exact moment, Dean is with me, he is in my spinning head. And believe me, Dean is there with you too, as you bend over the wheel and are ached to understand the human life.
We are all on the road, watching and experiencing, while sweating, cursing, laughing, bowling, crying, and, here u go, loving. Little by little, we come to know things, “the ragged joy of pure being”, and di*****urden ourselves from narrow-defined love."
