Would you like to guess who she is? Please tell me! Smiling...

I really love her voice, and feel her’s is better than other singers’s.
But I do not know who singer she is.

I found some interesting discussion from
Youtube, and I list them as following.
(Also, you can enjoy Luciano Pavarotti’s after your reading,  so you can compare)

This music, known as "Schubert's Ave Maria", is "Ellens dritter Gesang" by Schubert. The Lyrics are in german ("Ave Maria! Jungfrau mild,Erhöre einer Jungfrau Flehen !" means "Ave Maria! maiden mild, listen to a maiden's prayer !". Theses lyrics are a translation from a Walter Scott's popular epic poem: "The Lady of the Lake".
Dozens of singers have sing these piece, including Maria Callas. If someone think he recognise Callas interpretation, i can't contradict him.

no, i do not think it is elly amelling. her voice is lot stronger. also her pronounciaton of "r" is very strong.
this ave maria's "r" is almost "L". very typical of japanese people. this is yumiko samejima. the japanese woman's voice at its best.

stunningly beautiful.
i think the singer is yumiko samejima, japanese soprano.
this is her voice. the same song is posted by daichi001, the name of which sound very japanese. samejima studied in germany which explains it being sung in german well. that is what i think.
will the person who posted it please tell me if i am right?

lol if I knew I'd have said, it's an enigma at present. I knicked it off the internet listed as beethoven so it may be his mix with some ghetto chick singin. I liked it though so had to post however, Dutch singer, Elly Ameling, is my favourite choice so far. So says superstarsingerfreak. Says its on itunes but I'm too lazy to look

Haha. Well If you ever do have the time look it up. I'm pretty sure it's Elly Ameling. Her german is so good because she's dutch and germany is right next to us:P. She is one of our country's biggest lieder singers. Her repetoire is huge. Furthermore this is the SCHUBERT version seeing as Mozart wrote an interly different melody to his Ave Maria.

Actually it's Elly Ameling. Check out Itunes for the song. She's a dutch lyric soprano.

I recognize it : it is Barbara Bonney who sings (I'm nearly sure ; I have heard her singing this Ave Maria yesterday on the French radio, Radio Classique)
