百老汇的音乐奇才安德鲁•洛伊德•韦伯很多人都知道，他的<<剧院魅影>>尤其脍炙人口，也是我的至爱。家里
的CD听了无数遍，以至于从头至尾几乎能背下来了。当年在美国穷酸地搭朋友车买学生票坐最后排看戏，已经
是过电般地激动无比。后来出的电影也看了好几遍。说实在的，这部歌剧的故事并非我的茶，但架不住音乐的
旋律优美，具有强烈的感染力。

在这里我想谈的是其中不甚出名但却感人至深的一首歌：Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again 多希望你在此重现。

这首歌是女主角Christine在父亲的墓地前唱的。Christine自幼丧父，其后家道败落，流落到剧院打杂。受到＂音乐
天使＂亦及剧院魅影（又译幽灵）的细心调教，唱功日渐成熟。又在他各种阴谋诡计的推动下取代了原来歌剧院的主角并一举
成名。这时，少年时曾经的玩伴，现已长成翩翩公子的Raoul，在看戏时认出了当上了主演的Christine. 两人相认后迅速坠入爱河。在此同时，剧院魅影也在Christine面前显身并表达了炽热的爱意和对Raoul强烈的妒嫉。

一方是情投意合,青梅竹马的恋人，另一方是声音极具盅惑力，推动她歌唱事业的恩师兼狂人。Christine对Raoul倾心相爱，同时也对幽灵心怀感激和怜悯。在这样的情况下，Christine来到挚爱的父亲的墓前，诉说百结千缠的心事，寻求冥冥之中的启示。
